Legal Firm development of values statement

The Meerkat Group consulted to a major legal firm on creating value statements. This was a delicate task, because values must be inherent within an organisation, i.e. a consultant can’t impose their thinking on the group.

The legal firm leaders were shown the thinking and process to guide their team to create a values statement for their organisation. They took these lessons away to work with their staff in the development of a fully-owned values statement.

Within a week the client’s group had met and all staff had had the opportunity to comment and their values statement was designed and agreed to.
